On September 16, 2021, The Brooklyn Cyclones honored our dear Gianna Marie Gambino

with a memorial tribute that also served as a kickoff event for The Gianna Effect Foundation.

​

With dance performances, a photo montage, video clips, and her family's involvement

- her little brother threw out the first pitch and her Godmother sang The National Anthem

- it was a touching night to remember.

​

Our 2nd annual GEF Cyclones Game was another beautiful success on August 21, 2022.

​

GEF invited cancer warrior Marco Wilen to throw out the first pitch,

Gianna's Godmother once again sang the anthem,

Gianna's former dance teams performed,

and The Gianna Effect Foundation family staffers ran the FUN-draiser table all day

where visitors could spin the wheel for the change to win a Cyclones or GEF-related prize.
